Introduction
This is my third visit to this local old Pipe and Brickworks site. On the first visit I was only using my phone for photos and didn’t go upstairs, I did bring the camera on my second visit but again I didn’t go upstairs as I didn’t trust the old wooden ladder, especially after...
Introduction
Me and @Wastelandr were keen to meet up for the first time as we have spoken quite a bit and we are both not a million miles away from each other, Wastelandr suggested taking a look at this factory which has been posted previously on here by Speed, he mentioned a factory in Sudbury...
information:
I'm not too sure on the exact history, but the article I read said that where the reservoir is there actually used to be 3 more buildings. The site was opened in the 1930's and was used to mine gravel and was open until around the late 1990s/2000s.

I’ve had this one pinned for the best part of a year but for some reason, I just never got around to doing it until now. It’s certainly something a bit different, especially for East Anglia. Visited with @V50jake.

This is a local site that I’ve wanted to do for a few years so I thought now is the time, especially since hearing that security is now more relaxed. Please note this is a repost as the original report got deleted amid the forum issues/upgrades that occurred earlier this year...

This is a very local place to me, I’ve known about it for years and have visited a few times, but decided to finally take the camera here and post a proper report with some detailed history I found thanks to a local history group on Facebook.

I've got a soft spot for Victorian-style architecture, so I was keen to check out this local water tower. I originally thought I didn’t have any internal shots of this, but I found some rare photos on my phone that I took, so I put them through Lightroom and thought I’d write a...

As it was a nice day me and a friend decided to take a look at an old Pipe and Brickworks site near the Suffolk Coast. We've had this pinned on the map for a while and decided to give it a go. It was a good explore and I haven't constructed a report for a while so I have decided to...
I visited the site a couple of months ago in the hopes of having a look around only to find that it has been demolished to make way for what I think is yet another housing estate. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures when I was there but it is now a pile of rubble. This was a sad to discover...
Visited at beginning of 2021, post is open and an attempt has been made to keep the hatch closed with some threaded bar. Bunker is dry and in reasonable condition. No visible vandalism and some original artifacts remain.
Post opened in 1958 and closed in 1991
First Report here!
This has already been covered many times on 28dl. However it is still a proper explore and was fun to see. It is, as said before; heavily vandalized and there is a looming feeling that demolition is near.
History of this site:
There is a lot of confusing history around the...
My first report, feedback is welcome of course.
The Brantham Factories have somewhat of a legendary status in the area, very popular for exploring even as a one off.
The factories were built in 1887 and were abandoned in 2007. The company named "BX Plastics" manufactured, you guessed it...
I found this old place in Brantham/Manningtree and I think it could be a chemical factory but I'm not too sure. The explore is pretty easy all things considered, everything is open and only a few of the rooms are blocked up from industrial junk. Although most of the rooms have multiple entrances...

A disused chalk quarry and processing site, now turned in to a housing estate.

Only my second report, but thought I'd do a couple reports of recent explores and do one on this place whilst I'm at it because this was definitely one of my favourite explores, possibly the best of 2018 for me. Visited with @Chloe Explores .
