The Gore brook starts at Gorton reservoirs & passes through Gorton, Belle Vue, Longsight & Fallowfield
then becomes the Chorlton brook & passes through Chorlton, finishes at the Mersey.
The culvert is one of 10 along the brook consisting of a single - 2 parallel arches made of bricks,
with a length of 1 / 2 mile.

it was blocked during the January storm,
which damaged the debris grill at the infall too.
