So this was definitely an interesting explore as it was my 1st ever solo experience being in an abandoned building.
It was a family holiday and unfortunently none of my family are interested in urbexing, however this location was too good to miss. I braved it and decided to go by myself.
This hotel was located about 20 minutes from where I was staying in France and it was by far one of the easiest places to enter. Pretty much every door was wide open for entry.
The place was fantastic to say the least.
For the amount of it time it has been abandoned for, I did expect it to be in much worse condition. There is however graffiti in pretty much every room.
While exploring one of the hallways, I turned around and saw a figure by the window in the largest room. My heart sunk for a second till my eyes adjusted and realised it was a mannequin arm attached to a large coat of some sort.
The whole explore went ok however it was an extremely windy day. There was constant banging in the building due to the wind (mainly the wind pushing the huge blinds which many french buildings in the country side are known to have.) I also kept seeing movement in the corner of my eyes till I turned around and realised the wind was moving loose bits of wallpaper from the walls. It was pretty much constant jump scares every few minutes. I managed to explore most of the building till it got the point where the constant banging made it less and less enjoyable. It got hard to tell whether the sounds where someone else entering the building or just the wind. I also had a door slam shut behind while taking photos in one of the hallways.
Most of the rooms are empty and full of graffiti. There are some rooms still containing old furniture.
I hope to return on a less windy day.
