Sorry if this has been posted before but I have just finished reading Abandoned Places by Richard Harper.
The book is really good with many of the top abandoned places featured and some I had not even thought of. The writing is also well done and informative.

Seems a good read, some interesting sites in it.. looks more historical sites which are interesting in themselves
