We couldn't find any history at all.
Visited with Yorrick but he couldn't fit through the gap lol! Hence I’m reporting it.
There were no fixtures or fittings, no benches, toilets or signs at all.
A few bits of pencilled graffiti, the most recent being from 1947, make me think that no one's been down there in a very long time.
Would this have been a vent shaft? There were a few of them

Does anyone know what this is? It sort of looked like a bell but made of iron, with the remains of a bracket on one side and nothing inside.
