History
this post has really taken a battering in the last few years. having previously been one of the best preserved posts in the south this post was rather disappointing to have seen that it has gone so down hill. someone has seemingly set fire to a number of cushions in the far back corner of the post, spreading burn damage throughout. a number of artefacts were still in place when we arrived but i have now organised the removal of most of these legally with the consent of the landowner to put towards a post restoration i am currently organising and carrying out. this included saving many of the unique wooden fixtures in the post including the pin board, gzi thingy and stationary trays.
