Good pics under those conditions. πŸ‘Its not aesthetically pleasing like some others you've done. It looks very sketchy in places. A bit like a theme park; house of horrors with a slip and slide lol;)

Not seen this part of it before, i've done the lower part to get into that mill as already mentioned but never knew of this upper bit, looks more interesting that than bit!

This is where Cregg broke his arm in 2013, a victim of the slippery rocks. Mere yards from the glittering, oily prize above.
Sorry to hear that i was down a couple of times its a lot tougher navigating it than the pictures suggest

Nice report lots of great photos, my imagination is running overtime wondering where the blocked steps lead to. There must be hundreds of places across the country, especially in London where underground stuff is just blocked off and you wonder what’s on the other side, makes my imagination go wild. Thank you.

Hi The blocked of steps at one time took you up to the mill floor above , the mill above is still there ( thats been covered by others on here ) it does get you thinking when you see old tunnels and stairs branching off check out my report in to the void that was similar to this one with passages running of the main explore diddnt have time to fully explore them :thumb

There was a few old leather belts and remains of a machine but nothing to write home about
