Barnes hospital – Cheadle – April 2011
Just a quick report... I ended up here recently as a chaperone. Took a few photos on fisheye and thought I would show them as it puts a slightly unique slant on an old classic. Maybe not to everyone’s taste but anyhow.
Barnes is a bit of a sad story. A true recession victim and a prime example of great architecture under threat and going to waste. The clock tower is quite romantic and those that say it’s no longer doable are just being lame.
