hello all, here's my report on the old ww1/ww2 port defence battery at hawich. i used to play down here when i used to stay with my nan, it was alot easier to get in back then as it had no fence around it. it hasnt changed alot over time, its just alot more over grown. i don't know alot of history on the site apart from a couple of the gun position's were from the 1st ww, and the rest was developed during the 2nd ww. i hope you enjoy the pic's.
