Report - Becket Lower School, Nottingham - December 2010

I previously visited the upper school site of the former Becket School back in October with Raptor Jesus, and a report and history of the school can be found here.

This is the Lower Site, which was built in 1951 as the Corpus Christi Grammar School. Not the most exciting of places but it seemed rude not to visit, plus the traditional overhead rail mounted gym equipment allowed for some tomfoolery . In recent times it's been used by Nottinghamshire police for armed response training and many areas of the school are littered with 5.56mm training rounds.

Quite common for Nottingham popo to use an empty school for handgun training.

Also go and find out if it's demolished yourself, no one here will do the legwork for you.
