Visited with reefdog and Oxygen Thief. The main objective was the tower crane, as it has been raised up to it's maximum height and now stands as the tallest tower crane in the country at about 450ft, and also the tallest structure in Liverpool.
Climb wasn't too hard, although the wind soon picked up. We spent about 15 minutes up at the top before heading back down. On the ground, we thought we may aswell take a look at the tower itself. Stairs up to the top floor, and then ladders up the inside of the central column to the very top. Incredible views, and also an interesting view of the crane from the underside.
