Last weekend Rooks said she wanted to try Beetham West. I wasn't sure if she was serious or not, but sure enough she arrived in Liverpool last night with Zippy and pixielulu ready to give it an attempt. Pixie didn't want to do the crane (I don't blame her!) so stayed on the ground but did an excellent job of watching the surrounding streets while we went up. Zippy didn't think he'd make it to the top but he did - top work.
At the top we spent quite a while getting some shots, but then a load of Police and Fire Engines turned up down below. It appeared that they were sorting out a fire alarm in one of the big tower blocks down there, so we had to wait for them to go before climbing back down.
After saying goodbye to the others I went back into the tower and climbed the stairs up to the top. Tiring work, but I made it only to find a hatch to the roof was locked up. Oh well, I had to settle for the penthouse balconies instead. Didn't take many photos in there but it was still good fun.
