On our way back from a holiday in Cornwall, my girlfriend and I were looking for a little stop off on the way home. There's a couple of other reports on here about this site, and it's pretty close to the A30 so it was perfect for our first explore. Belstone Bunker is a disused water treatment facility from the 1950s, put there because the water had a high level of radon in it. The facility closed in the 1990s and was purchased by a private buyer in 2021, but nothing else has been done with it yet. There's evidence of builders having been there starting to clean the place up, so we may have only narrowly missed them.
