2014 Top Fifteen
Well it’s a bit overdue but here is my top fifteen of 2014.
I mainly explored with Mookie aka Ben this year, but also with many other friends and fellow explorers, including my very close friend TBM.
I only explored two countries this year, it seems the norm to travel worldwide these days so who knows what 2015 will bring.
I did 32 explores this year which isn’t TOO bad but I will hopefully top this!
#1 – CH Brickworks, London, UK- Jan 2014, visited with Mookster and PCWOX. An amazing start to the year, really nice and intact here and no chav damage.
-#1A
-#1B
#2- Aqua Splash Swimming Pool, Hemel Hempstead, UK – Feb 2014, Visited with Dan Lister and another explorer. Wanted to get this in the bag before it had gone really and it had to be done as demo was mid way! Had a stop and search here from some very friendly police officers.
-#2A
-#2B
#3- Elvian School, Reading, UK – March 2014, Visited with Mookster which sparked a big Western and Northern Roadtrip over a weekend.
-#3A
-#3B
#4- Tone Mills, Somerset, UK – March 2014, Visited with Mookster during the big Roadtrip. Amazing place with so much history intact and lots to photograph.
-#4A
-#4B
#5- Hartford Mill, Oldham, UK- March 2014, Visited with Mookster on the same trip, a nice but stripped mill in a deprived Northern area and the first 999 call I’ve ever made on an explore after some local scum set fire to part of it while we were exploring
-#5A
-#5B
#6- Cannon Brewery, Sheffield, UK – May 2014, Visited on a second Northern Roadtrip with Mookster, A very stripped and wrecked site that had lots of photogenic stuff in situ.
-#6A]
-#6B
#7- Chesham College Campus, Chesham, UK – May 2014. Visited alone. Very fresh and another to get in the bag because it was local, I went to university in this area and visited this campus on occasion when it was open.
