Big Humpty Manchester
Big Humpty is a culverted section of the river Medlock, situated at the far end of Philips Park.
It's a rather pleasing egg shaped structure of brick and stone, and dates back well over 100 years.
What it lacks in length, it makes up for in it's photogenic quality...and I spent a good 40 minutes or so in here, whilst I really should have been meeting up with Tom Sherman and Marsden, but hey ho, on with the photo's.

The Infall
It really is a rather pleasing shape
Inside looking back towards the infall
Moving out towards the Outfall
The outfall in all it's egg shaped glory
Minger, with fresh padlock...glad really I'd just had breakfast and it didn't smell too great
Cheers for looking
