visited here today on a drive from york to malton. This post is in the middle of nowhere and in quite good condition. the hatch was open when i got there but it does open and shut quite easily and when closed the hasps can be folded back down to keep it closed.
A few items are still down there, desk, cupboard with doors still attached, chemical toilet, sadly the origanal spinal board that i have seen on previous threads has grown legs and done a runner.
It looks someone is sleeping rough down judging by the assorted cushions lying about. some of the wiring is still attached and the polystyrene wall tiles are still on the walls.
enjoyed the look down, think i want one of my own now
hatch is in good working order
louvres are still in place
the ladder and hinge/counterweight seem to have been painted not that long ago
chemical toilet still there
i love this
pygmi bulb still in socket
looking back up, dont bang your head on the counterweight
all done and left closed for the next visitor.
thank you for looking
