Blairs College is a former junior catholic seminary on the outskirts of Aberdeen, which closed in 1986. Some rooms at the front are now used as offices, but the rest of the huge building is derelict. These photos are from several visits to different areas of the building, between March and June last year (hope this isn't too long! ).
Blairs College
The reunion and final tour of Blairs took place in June, before the builders were due to start work converting it into luxury apartments and golf resort. We took the tour once, then went around a second time, managing to "lose" our group along the way, and go a little off the tour route
Unfortunately they had cleaned much of it up ('elf and safety), and sealed off the library, so we couldn't get in there.

Dormitory
Menzies Chapel and House
This is by far the oldest part of the college, built with rough granite blocks in a style very typical to the area. Part of it was used as a small chapel and theatre. The theatre seating, grand piano and some of the stage equipment was still intact. This part wasn't mentioned on the tour, but it was easy enough to access.
Irn Bru! Wish I'd pinched this now
