Report - Branston Pickled Machine Gun Factory - Feb 2018

So earlier this year the Branston Pickled Machine Gun Factory was all the rage and Landie Man wasn't taking no for an answer so off we went. Nice building but mainly empty. We did get very luck with the February light tho. Beautiful.

Speed did a very good write up on the history which can be found here.

So....

So the first stop was the clock tower to check out the clock work.

Which was still running like, er, clock work.

Up in the crows nest.

Then more sexy illuminations.

Waz dept.

Skylights. Can't do with a decent skylight.

Had to be done.

Then this find. Holy WOW! A proper Strowger exchange. This should be in a museum, very, very rare these days.

Took a look last night. Still there, but pretty solidly boarded up - metal plates over the windows and doors. The general area was a bit too active for us to scour every last corner, but from what we did see, I don't think there's a way in at the moment.
