I was looking for information on the river Froome in Bristol and stumbled upon this. It says its a bunker on Woodland Road, near university of Bristol. I've searched everywhere online and can't find any info on it. Does anyone on here know?
I found some information on this site but don't know how correct it is but the report states it was a regional commissioner head quarters for general sir hugh elles from 1938 to 1945 address of (under) 19-20 woodland road tynndall's park Bristol information provided by www.humanities.uwe.ac.uk
It's an old war committee room from WW2. Myself & @rigsby looked at it years ago and found it completely backfilled. I had a feeling it had since been capped off but could be wrong.

Pretty sure its down about where I put the pin. I remember it being in a car park. Maybe worth taking another trip to confirm - got to go to Richer Sounds later so will have a detour en route.

Haha shows how long ago it was. I just vaguely remember it being in some sort of muddy/gravel car park! Assume its still back filled? Maybe worth looking for manhole covers nearby.
