So after a pretty epic fail of a day out to Ipswich with Atomic we stopped by this place on the way home. Not really much of an explore but its been a while since i stuck up a report. Basically all that remains is the four main silos and the foundations for everything else that looked soo promising from previous reports. Sadly we couldn't find access up to the silos for what would be a great view. So to anyone that was thinking of going, I wouldn't bother. What made it even bloody worse was the constant droning of some twat bags going by the name of JLS miming live in a nearby park!
Brief History
The factory was built in 1925. It was closed by British Sugar 76 years later, when production was moved to Bury St Edmunds and Cantley. Since then, it has been empty, and there are apparently plans to turn the entire site into a housing area, along with a nature reserve.
