Cabot Tower lies on Brandon Hill one of the oldest parks in Bristol. This makes for great height and offers one of the best views over Bristol.

the tower was open to the public but has been closed for construction purposes since 2007.
Built between 1896 and 1898 and listed as a grade II building and tops out at 105 feet high.
Over my visits I have discovered that although security is not a massive problem it is a known spot for "gay cruising"! (you'v got to laugh) and due to its location just outside the city centre lots of people lurk there through the night.
In terms of access the main issue is overcoming the hoarding board but there are many ways around this.
Once in it is a straight walk to the top where the tower provides many great views over the city.
Thanks for looking and email me for any questions.
