Report - Cairndhu House/Hospital - Northern Ireland

First of all I'd like to say Hi! This is my first post here, I've always been interested in Urbex and followed the site for a while. I moved to Northern Ireland three years ago and a few days ago I finally got to do a explore here...

A little history on Cairndhu House...
Cairndhu House was built in 1875 and was first of all a stately home for a wealthy Scottish industrialist a military hospital and then finally a convalescent home for the ill.
Cairndhu House has been left to unfortunately rot and fall to pieces which is probably ideal for us explorers...
Absolutely beautiful place on a stunning coastline ..
For all you paranormal junkies this place is a haunted hotspot and we managed to pick up some very clear EVP as well as both myself and my partner seeing a shadowy figure Infront of us.


Enough rambling here are my pictures (I am no photographer and I don't have fancy equipment all pics were shot with my Google pixel 2 phone)

Decent report. I think we visited here back in the late 2000s. Wasn't much differnt as i remember it..

Lots of asylums in the south if you fancy a road trip

I was looking through some earlier explore photos and it's seems there was a beautiful double staircase at one point in the building that has been ripped out total shame ..
