My first post for a long time, I've not had the chance and I've had pictures stored for years so thought I should share some with you guys. This was a good explore, we previously visited a few months before but we it got too dark to explore the building.
We were taking our time sneaking about around here as we wanted to see as much as possible without getting caught but as we were sneaking about we found that family's and OAP's were just walking around the site. The condition of this site is not great in some areas, I have not posted some photos due to some of the parts being badly damaged. Its still worth the visit for a unique explore.
A bit of info: Caterham competed in the 2012-2015 F1 world championship, unfortunately the closest they got to winning was 11th place at the 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix. On October 21st 2014 Caterham F1 had announced it was going into administration, all of its assets were sold off. Since then this site has been left derelict. There is a small building on the edge of the site which we thought was a small substation, I was told that this in-fact was an aircraft listening post used in the cold war. I will make another post for this
