On 16th July 2018, we visited these chalk caves in Dover. This specific set of caves does not appear to have a name, but they look to be large mined sections of the ground that could have been intended to be magazines due to their shape, but were never completed. There are four caves in total, varying in size:
Looking to the back of the second cave
Rear of the third cave
Small beginning of a secondary tunnel in the third cave
Entrance to the second cave
Carvings etched into the walls of the cave.
Entrance to the fourth cave
Light painting using a long exposure to spell Xplorer
Rear of the second cave, evidence of frequent or large collapses
Lewis perched atop the entrance to the third cave with an old rusty chair
Walking into the third cave, towards the rear
Closer look at the structure of the wall used to seal off the caves
Looking into the front corner of the fourth cave
