Explored with Dartian (Non-member)
This was just an "Oh I've seen something from the road, shall we go and have a quick look?" job. I know it's been done a few times but we wasn't aware at the time that it was in-fact 'Chemical Valley'.
What a truly awful place - bad air, goes on forever and there's different opinions as to where it actually goes too. It's quite interesting though as some of the brickwork is really old and there's many different sections to it.
Apart from the bad air and dodgy taste in one's mouth for a day or two afterwards it was a nice stroll. Waders were required as one section was 'balls-deep', oh and very steamy in some parts too!
