Chemical Valley - Greater Manchester
November 2013 - Explored with Morrisey
First culvert posting, recently met up with Morrisey on a lazy day in Greater Manchester for a little mooch
The entrance was far easier than some of the wall climbing, fence jumping, fire escape and window shimmering reports I have previously posted. The air in the culvert had a slight smell but was really nothing compared to what I was expectin'. In fact at one point I sure we could smell the stream of a fragrance from an emptying bath!
At the far end of the tunnel we were met with an opened up area with the floor covered with rubble. The water was gettin' deeper and the current seemed to be gettin' stronger
However, underfoot and the floor was as slippery as anything and I still don't know how I managed to get out as dry as I did and no wet backside
With a big thanks to Mr Morrisey
Hope you enjoy the report - I Will Knot
