This isnt a local explore so Ill forego the history as its been well covered before. I was down visiting a friend in Newcastle who happens to be a climber, and he suggested we have a look at his local derelict mental hospital. We never saw a soul while we were here, only a dog walker going round the fields outside the grounds.
This is by far the largest and most interesting site Ive seen so far, as it hasnt been completely stripped like Ruchill. Looking at other reports of the hospital I think Ive missed quite a lot, so Id like to return in the near future.
