My first report since my self-imposed exploring ban and what a cracker! Access is RIDICULOUS-I nearly died And even though I survived access, I'm probably going to contract lockjaw due to my useless leaky wellies. This is an absolutely fascinating place tucked away in the rocks of Clifton Downs and makes for a really challenging explore. There were boxes of old documents that were so damp, they just crumbled when you poked them. WARNING: Don't even bother going unless you are under 10inches wide, love spiders, have guns of steel and don't mind wading through seriously rancid water but other than that, it's definately worth it
Apologies for the shit photos, my arms were still all shaky and I couldn't rest the tripod on anything except 10 inches of brown/red water or a fly-covered wall
Cheers to Rigsby for showing me round, fuck knows how you did that on your own
Lovely old tin boxes!
One of the upper deck storage areas
A document box with lots of secret compartments!
Crumbly documents
Mmmmm even nicer when you know that water is inside as well as outside the wellies
Gave up after a while and started firing the flash off
Newspaper from 1972 (I think)-note the article about the Krays
A very crumbly regulations letter
Doors with the names of all the different departments on
Le jon
Very narrow tunnels
