Clapham North Shelter
I would normally link the history here, but there is an ace website that covers everything to do with this shelter so I'll just drop the link:

We had been told that we might need some specialist equipment for this one but it turned out that that wasn't the case anymore. The place was simply a walk-in, so easy in fact, that we were almost certain we might meet some shelterers deep down in the tunnels. I really enjoyed the exploration - the curvature on the tunnels was awesome particularly on the staircases, and I can see why although empty, the property interests so many photographers, as do it's neighbouring air raid shelters.
Looking down the 30m lift shaft
Didn't expect the power to be on all the way down here
Eventually, we came across the two staircases that would've taken civilians down to the shelter from the surrounding tube stations. Both tops were bricked up tight, and we walked up both of them to confirm this...
Following this tube that I presume would feed air into the tunnel network
Thanks for reading
