I remember the first time I drove past Colt, it was active but had an air of dereliction about it. It reminded me very much of Coors. I was sure it wouldn't be long until it was left, and lo and behold, few months later when my premonition came true. Secca was hanging around, and I thought I would have to pick my moment carefully in the future..... Fast forward to April and my moment arrived.
I don't really have any history other than the building was constructed in 1963 and used as a factory for Colt's production of ventilation systems and louvres. It's not been purchased by the government to build more council houses for the fine inhabitants of Flea Park.
