I'm going through my archive of stuff and trying to pick out things which I don't believe have been covered on here, and this is one of them I think.
Compton Buildings Ltd. were a leading manufacturer of pre-fabricated concrete garages and outbuildings. Their factory in Fenny Compton near Banbury closed in 2011 and the entire site was demolished earlier this year.
It wasn't an epic place by any means but in a county with incredibly slim pickings for vaguely nearby explores it was a pretty decent place for a chilled wander around, even if the weather was terrible the first time around. I went back in March last year as I was in the area and was pleasantly surprised to see it hadn't changed much, the photos below are a mix of the two visits.
