Register : Woodburner, Mutley and aem.
After a morning of fails, this little water pipe tunnel was the source of enjoyment for the day. With very little info on the ole tinterfret (read non) a construction age is a guestimate. Victorian era i'd say was a start and the brickwork maybe around the 1930s after roof collapses? At 1290 yards long & size that varies from 4.5 to 7ft in height and 3 to 4ft wide in parts which narrows considerably to within 1.5ft of the roof at both ends and the same when you come to one of the first (or last depending on entrance) air shafts - of which there are four in total - it's a decent mooch if in the area.
Any hoooo, picturmagraphs.
Mutleys transport for the afternoon
One of the four air shafts
Batz in you're tunnelz
This made me chuckle, low on the first beam, er on the second
Random bit of info for the report - I was two when this graffiti was written
Thanks again chaps
