I remember seeing this bridge on the news about a year ago and just loving it. I had to look at it up close and personal.
It was a seriously hard thing to get to involving scaling many bastad fences (and most of them were of the "temporary" type) and, at one point, hanging my arse 30 feet above the ECML. Due to the odd train rumbling past on the NLL I couldn't really get onto the bridge.
In the end the cereal packet camera I used at the time let me down big time so I stashed the pictures on a CD and ultimately forgot about them. Having found them again the other day looking for something else I tidied them up a bit with Photoshop and thought they looked fairly OK.
So here they are...
And a couple of Belle Isle bridge.
