Culverted River, Devon, 2010
Visited as a recce for a possible future explore with Ingonito.
This culverted river runs through some unknown areas through the centre of the town from a park on one side to the sea at the other, covering a distance of approximately a mile. It appears to be constructed from a steel tube section for the most part, with a final stone section leading to the beach with a huge overflow section which I assume used to be part of something much larger.
Not huge, not alot to see, and far too fast flowing to explore fully when we managed to access it yesterday!
I have deliberately kept the location off the report in the hope that when we return after a dry spell we will find our same access point undisturbed!
Photos are not fantastic, and it is a tad boring to be honest - still trying to work my way up to some decent explores, and actually struggling a little with using my camera! (Collingwood - fancy a meet )
A little childish - thought I would have a practice!
I was concentrating on my red light, but managed to capture Incognito walking past! If only I could produce something like that if I tired!
