Report - Cyklonkessel Powerplant, Germany - March 2015

Set in a picturesque valley in southern Germany lies this abandoned paper mill with it's own power plant. It contains two turbine halls, two boiler houses and much much more. Thanks to @jST for putting this out there a couple of years ago, it's about as good as an industrial site can get, it's got everything. Visited with @Monkey, @extreme_ironing and some German friends who were kind enough to put us up and make us pack lunches! Sorry it's a few months old but I've been a busy boy!! Recent reports suggest it's still pretty much in the same time capsule state now. Amazing place.

I was here a week ago. One access point has been removed completely (stair case has lower 2m of steps removed) and a temporary fence has been put up in the front.

This is an active site and we spoke to a business owner who is right in front of the building. He didn't care if we entered, but he said the owner is pretty pissed at people gaining entry and has called the cops before. We didn't enter on that particular day but we're planning a revisit when the site isn't so busy.
