First site of the roadtrip which turned out to be a bit of a hidden gem once we started scrabbling around looking for evidence of the building's original use. There's some great old posters on the walls up in the attic that show just how old this place is. I just hope it's going to be turned into something more worthwhile than some rock museum or whatever they think would look good there :crazy
The offices on the ground floor have some spectacular wood panneling which just wouldn't be used or "necessary" when constructing any kind of new administration block nowadays. I think the shipbuilding side of things closed a long time ago and since then, the building has been used for many other things and quite probably split up into many different units of space.
