Visited with @coolboyslim & @GRONK then solo the following morning,
well worth the effort.
The magistrates court was built between 1857 & 1859, opened in 1860
designed by John Gray Weightman.
The main facade lies on Dale street while the side lies on Hatton garden,
the building consists of seven courts, (with cells beneath for easy access) a probation service & offices.
The magistrates court closed in 2015, leaving behind 160yrs of service
the building is grade 2 listed.
All services were transferred to a new combined Magistrates & crown court,
at a cost of 55 million
the building currently lies empty awaiting it's fate.
