I am an amateur urban explorer and keen to discover more. The best site I have found so far is the Botanical Gardens I discovered in Kilcreggan, Scotland which I visited on 6/6/2019. I spent nearly 4 hours here exploring all the overgrown pathways and buildings but did not bump into a single other person. There are rare, wild flowers from all over the world here, waterfall, ponds, greenhouses and from what I can gather the owner has passed away with nobody to take over the work so nature is taking it all back and it is beautiful. A glimpse through some windows gives the impression the owner has just popped out but the exteriors tell a different story, including the cup on the doorstep of what I assume was once tea but is now mould.
