History - was closed around the end of 2007. Is currently up for sale but has no interested buyers, it’s been up for sale before but there was no luck in selling it. It’s currently a grade 2 listed building.
Explore - went with one of my friends because we were bored. Access is honestly really easy, I went last year but it had been boarded up and the locals keep an eye on it but we had no trouble getting into it today.
There’s a lot of dead pigeons inside and other dead birds, also a lot of active pigeons in the building so there’s no surprise there’s a lot of dead ones as they’ve probably got trapped in the ceiling. Doesn’t smell very nice in there either but the view over the church is amazing.
Also has an organ and an old piano left in there that are pretty destroyed.
