Hard to believe that this is the same place as pictured on the Subbrit website.
EARLS BARTON Northamptonshire
The site is massively overgrown and is the target for much fly tipping.
Some well meaning individual has in the last few months got their hands dirty and cleared the access shaft of all the festering crap that was blocking it previously.
I therefore thought it would be rude not to pop down the ladder and grab some piccies.
Inside there is still much rubbish and the post has been stripped bare. The hatch, which was detached on my first visit two years ago, is now missing completely and someone has 'salvaged' the sump pump.
Despite the missing hatch the post is damp but not flooded.
On with the pics.
On my way back to the bike I was nearly run down by this fellow.
Thanks for looking.
