A very short but sweet visit for work to Edinburgh this week with unfortunately not near enough time to explore all the locations I had spotted. I got as far as scouting, nicely preparing for next time (next time I swear I get in Scotland Street Tunnel. Found two entry points that were so locked, fenced up and guarded that I could not in the time imparted go further as deciding that there is a third entry point to the place judging by the number of fresh foot steps I saw in the North gate entrance beyond the said gate!!) soooo instead, a couple of very lazy shots of the western harbour lighthouse.
The lighthouse was built in 1950s but has been out of use for several decades, as modern navigation technology made it redundant.

It is very fenced up with one of these fences that has rather sharp endings at the top so seeing that I could see it well enough from the outside and was alone and not equipped to go over I settled for spending more time in the foundations under it.
