Welcome fellow Essex lads. Unfortunately there's become a distinct lack of Essex material since I started out. The places that never change though that I would recommend are disused military forts and airfields, all impressive to newcomers, quite relaxed and still a fair few about.

The stuff on the old airfield at Rivenhall is always worth a look though

Best thing in inner chelmsford is probably Sandford Mill - but yeah not been a lot recently

Ooh, I've tried it twice and found it all freshly boarded. There is a phone number on the door saying to phone for access though.

As I said, I promise you it's doable (it took me walking around the building around 20 times to realise), been there a couple times, last time being a week ago.

there are no mansions and things lke that its pretty crap in essex
