I am looking for ideas of places in Edinburgh to explore and climb. Recently visited Bangour hospital village but mainly all boarded up and security driving around every so often.

Signing up and asking outright for locations isn't going to get you very far. For a start, urban exploring is as much about research as it is exploring, but on top of that, this is a community which relies on contributions from members. Stick a report or two up first so we can see you're willing to contribute, then people will be more inclined to help. There's a beginners guide knocking around somewhere, I'm sure someone will link to it - it's pretty handy to get you started on the forum.

Have a read of these two threads, they'll show you how things work on the forum -

...then put your location in the search bar and post some reports of places you've been so people know you're genuine, that way they're more likely to get in touch.

Besides the search box you could try some of this list out, that's what explorers do.
