Dover is renowned for its volume of locations to explore, but this one is a bit more out of the way to the usual haunts. Easy enough to access and has been abandoned for many years. Over the past ten years, the site has suffered massive damaged and levels of graffiti, some of which is actually quite good. My attempts to gain some history on the place wasn't easy and was left to speaking with a few locals to ascertain what they might know. It appears to have been a former vehicle storage depot of sorts, some claiming it was Fiat and some stating it was Daihatsu! Word around the camp fire from the locals is that the owner has attempted many times to gain planning permission in order to develop on the site, but each application has been rejected. As you enter, the years of being left to decay and fun at the hand of local kids is evident. Unfortunately, other than the main structure, there wasn't a great deal to see. So, after a quick walk about and a few pics, I was out and off to my next location. Now time for those pics.
So, there you have it, something different from the usual Dover based tunnel pics! This is Urban Ginger Hog signing off!!
