After an epic success with Control Room A at Battersea we re-cocked and travelled north through the Friday night lights of bustling London town.
Not much in the way of history on this location as far as history goes its a Victorian era underground reservoir. In 1932 seven engines pumped 15 million gallons daily to the Hornsey Lane and Crouch Hill reservoirs for local consumption. Covered reservoirs were built including this one to store water, this reservoir was built to the best of my knowledge around the late 1800's.
Getting cut up and not being let into the lane we should've been in is part of the fun of driving around central London, good little bit of character building on our way to the reservoir.
With a bit of elbow grease we entered down into the abyss, we were met with an epic cavernous yellow brick victorian reservoir, the water had been pumped out long ago and what was left is hundreds of meters squared of archways. We spent a few hours down there taking a look around. An incredible location with a lot of scope for some interesting light painting.
