Have been eyeing up this place for ages and ages and have lost count of the number of reccies we have done!
Decided to get sarnies and other tasty items packed and set alarm clock for a frighteningly early time, before setting off up the A1 to St Mary's.
Strange thing mornings at this time of year. One minute its still more or less dark, and the next minute its bloody bright sunlight and a wish that hadnt stayed in bed for that extra 15 minutes!
One fall from a great height and a twisted ankle later and we were in! Ankle knacking but not to be put off we plodded on (or rather he hobbled and she chuckled - lets be honest it was funny!)
I HAVE TRIED TO LABEL THE PHOTIES AS ACCURATELY AS I COULD.
STARTED SHOOTING STRAIGHT AWAY.......FOLLOWING THE SIGNS AND USING OUR ZOOMED IN LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS GOOGLE EARTH MAP FOR REFERENCE.......

HALL....FLOOR AS DODGY AS EVER AND DIDNT DARE WALK ON IT. LOOKING AT THE PERSON SIZED HOLES IN IT I REACON PLENTY OF PEOPLE BEFORE US HAVE TRIED IT THOUGH!

AND FINALLY WE LIMPED TO THE MORGUE WITH ITS BEAUTIFUL CERAMIC AUTOPSY TABLE TOTALLY INTACT - HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY!
SECOND ROOM IN SAME PART OF BUILDING CONTAINED THESE TABLES, PRESUMABLY FOR MORE BODIES....
FINALLY......COULDNT RESIST........
THIS WAS A GOOD EXPLORE WHICH WAS WELL WORTH THE OTHER HALF OF BLUEMOTH BUSTING HIS ANKLE FOR. HE ON THE OTHER HAND MAY DISAGREE! BLESS!
Will definitely be going back again in the future as is well worth a second trip.
