Glen Mill Colne Lancashire, visited with Camera shy on a very wet and miserable day. The North West is littered with mills, every now and then just driving about you see one make a note and then go back and hope that it holds some amazing treasure of a forgotten time or just some empty rooms and some old mixing tanks and a flooded cellar...this being the case i didn't care it's just nice to have a mooch around for me a new site. the mill itself is quite small for the area and evidence of some buildings have been demod some time ago and the rest of the building just left to the usual vandal activity...I can't seem to find much history all i know is it was built in 1906 and at some point was a chemical or pharmaceutical mixing plant a small one at that...not what i was hopeing for but you have to get in to find out so if i had to get wet and cold i think at least you can pass your eyes over it for a few seconds..Thanks
