Bentham Works was the original site of the Gloster Aircraft Company. Yes, it was deliberately abbreviated because international customers claimed that the name "Gloucestershire" was too difficult to spell
Bentham Works was where many of the UK's early fighter jets were prototyped and tested. GAC used the site from 1940 to 1963, since when the buildings have changed hands a few times up until 1998. Since that time the buildings have remained empty.

Don't think you would get away with this today?
