I found this pub a few years a go when on the way to my partners house and had wanted to venture inside for months! On the way back from an other explore we stopped off and had a look around.
History
I don't know much about the pub but I did get some information from a friends parent who lives in a small village near by. Apparently the original owner died and there where two families squabbling over who gets it as I believe the owners death was quite sudden. This argument went on for years until one of the families decided to set fire to the pub so no one could have it and it's been left since then. Unfortunately thats all I know and its been quite difficult to find any other information on it.
Explore
When looking around the back of the pub you could see old contents such as a trampoline, beer canisters and tables. Venturing inside it was clear that the fire had done some serious damage to the structure of the building as the roof had collapsed in. and due to the exposure the floor was covered in plants and greenery. Despite the grass, you could see the old darts boards on the walls and chalk boards that had been spared by the flames.
As we moved through the building you could see old picture frames that have fire damage and old children's toys that remained unscathed.
