This place seems to be a strange mix of some old industrial and residential buildings just cobbled together. The building started life as a small brewery in 1907, for which it was only used until 1920. After that many different uses followed, such as a butter factory and a tyre producer. In the last years, before it became derelict in 2006, on the site there were a car repair garage, a Doctor's surgery and private residences.
The Haus Sellschopp's future remains unclear, and it seems likely to be demolished soon. Visited with a non-member (my brother). Place is becoming pretty trashed and also dangerous in some parts.
